John Lim

John has 25 years of experience in coaching, training, leadership development, management, and engineering under his belt. He has conducted more than 800 hours of leadership coaching workshops and 1,000 hours of coaching sessions with leaders, executives, and entrepreneurs, both individually and in groups. He is an effectively bilingual Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Before he joined Rohei, John was the director of coaching with an American value-based training and consulting company based in China. Prior to that, John spent 15 years in leadership positions with ExxonMobil and the Singapore Armed Forces.

John subscribes to Gallup’s CliftonStrengths (formerly known as Clifton StrengthsFinder), a strengths-based approach, in his coaching. His top strength as a “Maximizer” is played out in the way he coaches others – by empowering senior leaders through executive/leadership coaching and training. He is passionate about enabling them to unlock their full potential and live a purposeful life from inside out, transforming something strong into something superb.

In his free time, John enjoys cycling, brisk walking, reading and having deep conversations with people about living a purposeful life. He also loves playing badminton, board games, and watching wholesome movies with his family.
