Barney has a proven track record of coaching senior executives and mid-level leaders in some of Singapore’s largest multinational corporations in bioscience research, BFSI, technology, pharmaceuticals, food technology, hospitality, airport services, construction equipment, and nonprofits.

Barney has guided clients through significant leadership development and corporate transitions, often spanning multiple years. Clients value his pragmatic approach to coaching and his expertise in identifying critical success factors for senior management. His pastoral leadership experience provides depth of insight and a strong sense of purpose, enabling clients to navigate complex challenges meaningfully. Corporate Leadership & Board Experience

Barney spent 20 years leading Fortune 50 multinationals, including serving as Managing Director and General Manager of Microsoft Singapore, a USD200M business with 170 employees. Prior to that, Barney was a senior leader at St. James Church Singapore for 15 years, where he mobilised over 1,000 volunteers, led major property development projects, and launched new initiatives to expand the organisation’s reach. 

Barney has also served on the boards of: 

• IPS Securex Holdings Limited

• IFS Capital Limited, where he served as Chairman of its Executive Resource & Compensation Committee, and member of its Audit & Risk Committee 

• Jurong Health Services, where he was IT Committee Chairman overseeing a SGD200M budget; 

• Integrated Healthcare Information Systems Pte Ltd (now Synapxe), a Singapore national HealthTech agency; and 

• Ministry of Health’s National Healthcare IT Steering Committee.
