With a background in business and in the public service, Daniel delivers programmes for our public sector clients (among them Monetary Authority of Singapore, Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, Civil Service College, Maritime Port Authority and Central Provident Fund Board).
Daniel's expertise in Process Facilitation has helped him design and facilitate Visioning workshops and Board / Management Retreats for the C-suite. Clients include Epson, Singapore Discovery Centre, and Clarins.
Blending the best of both worlds from the public and private sectors, he is one of the lead facilitators for the Senior Leaders track in our Relational Leadership Development program.
Before joining ROHEI, Daniel was the Assistant Director of OD Programmes at the Public Service Division, Prime Minister's Office. He designed and implemented Whole-of-Government wide OD strategies and programmes in support of Public Sector Transformation. This involved working closely with stakeholders across multiple agencies to co-create desired outcomes. He engaged at all levels, from Permanent Secretaries to middle managers and public service officers to drive sustainable change for the Public Service.
Prior to that, Daniel served at the Ministry of Defence where he honed his strategic thinking and operated in complex, matrix environments. As Head of the Training Policy Section, Daniel reviewed the NS training system and policies as part of the Committee to Strengthen NS (CSNS) initiatives. Daniel built his experience in leadership on the ground, as the Operations Officer and Officer Commanding in the Armoured Engineer Battalion.
Outside of work, Daniel spends much quality time with his family. He enjoys spinning and swimming. A hungry learner, he reads an average of one book a week and loves motivational quotes. One of his favourites: "Enjoy the little things in life, for one day you'll look back and realise they were the big things."
