Vanessa is a seasoned trainer and coach who specialises in leadership programmes. Among Vanessa’s learners were senior officers from the Singapore Police Force, students in INSEAD (Singapore campus), regional managers at Standard Chartered Bank, teachers from the Ministry of Education (MOE), to name a few. Vanessa has successfully trained participants across different age groups with varied backgrounds in the areas of resilience, emotional intelligence, and goal setting.

When she was a polytechnic lecturer, she’s held the position of co-module chair for Critical Thinking Skills module, managed a pool of 60 lecturers, co-designed/facilitated curriculum and assessments, specialised in Learner-Centred Teaching module of the Specialist Diploma in Applied Teaching & Learning, and trained lecturers in student motivation and curriculum delivery strategies for in-person and online facilitation.

Participants of the programmes she’s conducted described her as being ‘very competent and experienced in the topic’ of the training session, demonstrated ability ‘to fully engage, enthrall and educate’ learners on the subject matter, and possessed a flair in ‘making complex concepts comprehensive and memorable’. Her learners have all enjoyed and benefitted from her training.

Vanessa is also viewed as someone who is highly collaborative, self-motivated, empathetic, willing to learn, and adept at designing relevant activities to enrich participants’ learning experiences.
